The Incurables gets casting


The incurables....

News on the adaptation of Jon Basoff's novel The Incurables. The novel has been adapted by J.R. Reher (Into The Grizzly Maze, Rex'd) and actress/writer Jean-Marie Sobeck.

Reher called the adaptation that he and Sobeck wrote 'pretty badass'. The Incurables is a dark Psychonoir novel of horror. It's about Walter Freeman and how he pioneered the transorbital lobotomy. Basoff's other novel Corrosion is currently being produced by Mike Macari and will begin casting soon.

Tom Sizemore (who has recently been cast in the Liam Neeson, Russell Crowe film Felt & has signed on for Mark Whalberg's Shooter TV series) has signed on to produce the film and star as Walter Freeman.
